Lionheart Jiu Jitsu Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services, website, and facilities of Lionheart Jiu Jitsu (“Lionheart,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth in this document. These terms apply to all members, guests, and visitors. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Membership and Payments

2.1 Membership Fees

Lionheart Jiu Jitsu offers membership plans as outlined on our website and in our pricing policy. Membership dues are subject to the following conditions:

Adults Unlimited: $117/month

Children Unlimited: $97/month

One Day/Week (Any Program): $77/month

Discounts: Available for first responders, educators, and families as specified in our pricing policy.

Prepaid Memberships: 6-month and 12-month prepaid options are available with discounts and bonuses.

2.2 Payment Terms

Membership payments are automatically billed on a recurring basis.

Payments must be made through an approved payment method.

Late or declined payments may result in suspension or termination of membership.

Prepaid memberships are non-refundable.

2.3 Cancellation Policy

Members may cancel their membership with 30 days’ written notice via email or in person at the facility.

Cancellations before the end of a prepaid term do not qualify for refunds.

2.4 Refund Policy

All membership fees, prepaid packages, and purchases are non-refundable, except in cases of:

Medical conditions preventing participation (with a doctor’s note).

Relocation more than 25 miles from the facility (proof of address required).

3. Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

By participating in any classes, training, or events at Lionheart Jiu Jitsu, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Voluntary Participation: You understand that training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Wrestling, and self-defense involves physical activity and inherent risks, including but not limited to injuries, fractures, and concussions.

Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily assume all risks associated with training and waive any claims against Lionheart Jiu Jitsu, its owners, instructors, and staff.

Medical Clearance: You confirm that you are in good health and have no medical conditions that would prevent participation.

Emergency Medical Care: In the event of injury, Lionheart Jiu Jitsu may seek emergency medical treatment on your behalf, and you agree to bear any resulting costs.

4. Student Code of Conduct

To ensure a safe and respectful training environment, all members must adhere to the following rules:

4.1 General Conduct

Respect instructors, staff, and fellow students at all times.

Maintain personal hygiene, including clean uniforms and trimmed nails.

No foul language, bullying, harassment, or aggressive behavior is tolerated.

Any disrespect or misconduct may result in suspension or termination of membership.

4.2 Safety & Training Rules

Follow the guidance of instructors and respect training limitations based on experience level.

No unsupervised sparring.

Leg locks and other advanced techniques are regulated based on training level.

Report any injuries immediately to an instructor.

5. Facility Use & Policies

5.1 Facility Access

Members may use the facility during scheduled class times.

Spectators are welcome but must remain in designated areas.

5.2 Photography & Media Consent

Lionheart Jiu Jitsu captures photos/videos for promotional and training purposes.

By participating, you grant us permission to use your image unless you opt out in writing.

5.3 Lost or Stolen Items

We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

Members should secure belongings in designated areas.

6. Changes to Terms & Conditions

Lionheart Jiu Jitsu reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
