At Lionheart Jiu Jitsu, we believe in making high-quality training accessible to everyone without sacrificing quality. Here’s how we keep our prices lower than most academies:

✅ Community Over Profits: Our mission is to make martial arts available to more people, rather than pricing out families who want to train together. You don’t finance our lifestyles. Lionheart is ran by people who love BJJ and know the impact it can have in your life and that’s what we want to share.

✅ Efficient Operations: We run a streamlined business model, focusing on quality instruction rather than excessive overhead. This gives us the freedom to charge reasonable prices and maintain a high enough net margin to operate and re-invest into the academy and our students.

✅ Jiu Jitsu is Overpriced in General: We are of the opinion that BJJ is typically overpriced in general, and that’s simply because of prevailing market rates. There’s no need for a properly ran business to charge $200/mo per student which is very normal in Colorado.

A few other ways we differ:

✅ No Contracts: Many gyms lock you into long-term contracts with hidden fees—we keep things simple and transparent.

✅ No Extra Fees: Some gyms charge belt testing fees, annual fees, or required seminars—we don’t.

✅ Discounts for Families & First Responders: We prioritize affordability by offering discounts that make training accessible for everyone.

We maintain a top-tier training environment, expert instructors, and competition-level coaching at a price that makes Jiu Jitsu more inclusive and family-friendly than most other academies

Lionheart Jiu Jitsu – Pricing Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: March 1, 2025

By enrolling in a membership at Lionheart Jiu Jitsu, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding pricing, discounts, prepaid memberships, and refunds.

1. General Membership Terms

• All membership payments are due monthly on the same date of enrollment.
• Memberships are non-transferable and apply only to the enrolled individual.
• Memberships provide access to the selected training program(s) and are subject to class schedules and availability.
• Prices are subject to change with prior notice. Any pricing adjustments will not affect prepaid memberships until the next renewal.

2. Family & First Responder Discounts

First Responder & Educator Discount

• Available to police, fire, EMS, teachers, and military (active/veterans).
• Provides a $10/month discount on individual memberships.
• Cannot be combined with the family discount. If a family discount applies, the first responder discount will be replaced by the higher savings from the family plan.

Family Discount

• Two family members: $10 off per person per month.
• Three or more family members: $15 off per person per month.
• Family members must be immediate family and reside in the same household. Proof of residence may be required.

3. Paid-in-Full Membership Terms

6-Month Prepaid Membership

• A 3% discount applies to the total tuition.
• Includes free bonus items:
  ✅ Rash guard ($55 value)
  ✅ Training notebook ($10 value)
  ✅ Soap bar ($5 value)
• Non-refundable and cannot be paused or transferred.

12-Month Prepaid Membership

• A 7% discount applies to the total tuition.
• Includes free bonus items:
  ✅ Gi ($100 value)
  ✅ Rash guard ($55 value)
  ✅ Training notebook ($10 value)
  ✅ Soap bar ($5 value)
• Non-refundable and cannot be paused or transferred.

Prepaid Membership Conditions

• All prepaid memberships are final and non-refundable unless canceled by Lionheart Jiu Jitsu.
• If a student is unable to train due to injury or relocation, the prepaid membership may be transferred to an immediate family member only with management approval.
• Prepaid members are responsible for collecting their free gear at the gym. No cash or alternative value will be provided for unclaimed items.

4. Referral Program

• Existing members receive a $25 credit for referring a new member who signs up for at least one month.
• Referral credits cannot be exchanged for cash and will be applied to the next billing cycle.
• Only one referral credit per new member.

5. Membership Cancellation Policy

Month-to-Month Memberships

• Members may cancel their membership with at least 30 days’ written notice before the next billing cycle.
• No refunds will be issued for unused time within a billing cycle.

Prepaid Memberships

• Prepaid memberships cannot be canceled, paused, or refunded.
• In cases of medical emergencies or relocation, prepaid memberships may be transferred to an immediate family member with management approval.

6. Payment & Billing Policies

• All payments are processed automatically via credit/debit card or bank draft.
• Members are responsible for ensuring payment methods are up to date.
• If a payment fails, a $10 late fee may apply if not resolved within 7 days.
• Lionheart Jiu Jitsu reserves the right to suspend training privileges until the account is current.

7. Pricing Changes & Policy Updates

• Lionheart Jiu Jitsu reserves the right to adjust pricing and update policies as necessary.
• We make every effort to keep members at their original rate and grandfather them as pricing increases, however we cannot dictate the future and price increases may be necessary.
• Members will receive at least 30 days’ notice before any pricing changes take effect.
• Prepaid memberships will not be affected by pricing changes until the next renewal.

By enrolling in any membership at Lionheart Jiu Jitsu, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
