Pricing Comparison
Many gyms will price their classes $150 to $200 a month. A typical beginner may attend 3 beginner's classes per week, for the month. Under those plans you'd pay their monthly price, with us you'd pay $75-$90 per month, depending on which punch card you purchased, with the ability to skip classes as needed and not lose the value you paid for.
About Our Pricing Structure
Our pricing structure is different than other gyms, and unique as far as we've seen. One of our major goals is to encourage students to visit us because they want to, not because they feel the obligation of a monthly membership. We also want to encourage students to visit other gyms (referred to as cross-training in the community) so that they can see other visions of Jiu Jitsu and learn and grow in that way.
Pursuant to that goal, we offer "punch card" style pricing. You can purchase a punch card (given to you physically at the gym) and spend those punches on classes. That way you never waste money on a monthly membership that you're not using, and you're free to come and go without that worry.
Both the Head Instructor and the owner of Lionheart Jiu Jitsu share the principal of Jiu Jitsu being available to everyone. They both believe in the community of Jiu Jitsu and want to promote the ability to cross train as much as possible.
They're also in unique positions personally to help make low cost training a reality for the people who need it, without a sacrifice in quality, as all money made by the gym is reinvested to make it a better place for all of our students. Neither the Head Instructor nor the owner draw a salary from the gym. They do this entirely because they love the art.
